XTERIX is a privacy-focused third-party client for X (formerly Twitter), designed for iOS and Apple Watch. It offers features like PIN-protected access, burner sessions for private browsing, and the ability to manage up to 25 accounts across multiple sessions.

It means your data stays private, your sessions stay ephemeral when you want them to, and your interface stays beautiful. XTERIX brings the vapordeck philosophy to X — neon aesthetics, rock-solid security, and a browsing experience that leaves no trace unless you want it to.
XTERIX offers a free tier with basic functionality including Apple Watch browsing. XTERIX Pro unlocks premium features including additional sessions, syncing likes and reposts from Apple Watch back to iPhone, and advanced customization features. Pricing details will be announced at launch.
When you launch XTERIX, you'll be prompted to enter your PIN before accessing the app. Your PIN is stored securely within the app itself and never leaves your device. If you delete the XTERIX app, your PIN and all information it secured are deleted too. This provides an additional layer of security beyond your phone's lock screen.
Burner Sessions allow you to browse X without leaving a trace on your device. When you start a burner session:
- A new private browsing environment is created
- You can sign in to X and use it normally
- When you close the session, all data is permanently deleted
- No cookies, cache, or session data is retained
Note: Passwords and passkeys saved to iCloud Keychain or AutoFill are managed by iOS and persist outside of Burner Sessions. For maximum privacy, select "Not Now" when prompted to save passwords, or disable AutoFill Passwords in Settings > Passwords > Password Options.
XTERIX Pro supports up to 25 accounts through our Session Manager. You can create up to 5 sessions, each containing up to 5 accounts. Switch between accounts instantly with a single tap. Sessions can be named for easy organization (e.g., "Main Accounts," "Work Related," "Research").
Yes! XTERIX includes a free Apple Watch companion app where you can browse your timeline. With XTERIX Pro, likes and reposts from your watch sync back to your iPhone seamlessly. This is the first X experience designed specifically for Apple Watch.
Absolutely. XTERIX is built with privacy as a core principle:
- We don't collect any analytics or usage data
- Your X credentials are never stored by XTERIX
- All data is stored locally on your device
- No cloud sync to our servers
- PIN and session data is stored within the app
XTERIX is currently in development. Join our waitlist on the homepage to be the first to know when we launch. Waitlist members may also receive special launch pricing.
XTERIX is designed to work with X's public web interface, not their API. This means we're less susceptible to API changes or restrictions. However, if X makes significant changes to their platform, we'll work to update XTERIX as quickly as possible.
