XTERIX is built with privacy as a core principle. We don't track you. We don't collect analytics. We don't sell your data. Your X experience is yours alone.
1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how XTERIX ("we," "our," or "the App") handles information when you use XTERIX on iPhone, iPad, and Apple Watch.
XTERIX is a third-party client application for browsing X (formerly Twitter). We are committed to transparency and to handling as little data as possible.
2. Information We Handle
XTERIX is designed to minimize data collection. Here's what we handle:

XTERIX does not operate any servers. There is nowhere for your data to be sent. All local data is deleted when you uninstall the app.
3. How We Handle Your Data
X Account Authentication
Authentication is handled directly between your device and X's servers. We never see, store, or have access to your X credentials.
Session Isolation
Each X account session is stored in its own isolated container. Sessions cannot access each other's cookies or data, and session data never leaves your device.
PIN Protection
Your PIN is stored securely in the iOS Keychain. It never leaves your device and is not accessible to us.
4. Burner Chat
Burner Chat is designed for temporary, private use.
- Burner Chat uses Apple's ephemeral authentication sessions
- All session data (cookies, cache, credentials) is automatically discarded when the session ends
- No burner session data is retained after closing
5. Apple Watch
When you sync content to Apple Watch:
- Data is transferred using Apple's secure Watch Connectivity framework
- Communication is encrypted and occurs only between your iPhone and Apple Watch
- Like and repost actions are stored locally until synced
XTERIX does not transmit Apple Watch data to any servers.
6. Third Parties
X Platform
When you use XTERIX, you interact directly with X's servers through an embedded browser. X's Privacy Policy applies to your use of their service: x.com/en/privacy
XTERIX does not intercept, proxy, store, or analyze communication between you and X.
Apple Services
XTERIX uses Apple frameworks including:
- StoreKit (for in-app purchases)
- Watch Connectivity
Payments are processed entirely by Apple. We do not receive or store payment information.
7. Children
XTERIX is not intended for users under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
8. Your Control
Because all data is stored locally:
- You can remove sessions at any time
- Deleting the app removes all locally stored data
- Burner sessions clear automatically when closed
9. Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy. Changes take effect when posted with an updated "Last Updated" date.
