1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using XTERIX ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
2. What XTERIX Is
XTERIX is a third-party client application that provides an alternative interface to access X (formerly Twitter) on iPhone, iPad, and Apple Watch. Features include:
- PIN-protected access
- Multiple session management
- Burner sessions for ephemeral browsing
- Apple Watch companion app
- Visual customization modes
XTERIX is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by X Corp.
3. Relationship with X
XTERIX interfaces with X's platform. By using XTERIX, you also agree to X's Terms of Service (x.com/en/tos).
We do not control X's platform. If X changes its platform, API, or terms, XTERIX functionality may be affected. We are not responsible for X's actions or policies.
4. User Responsibilities
Your X Account
You must have a valid X account to use XTERIX. You are responsible for your account credentials and all activities under your account.
PIN Security
If you enable a PIN, you are responsible for keeping it secure. We cannot recover lost PINs.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Violate laws or X's Terms of Service
- Use XTERIX for spam, harassment, or abuse
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or modify the App
- Use XTERIX for automated or bot-like activity
5. Subscriptions & Purchases
In-App Purchases
Some features require a one-time purchase or subscription. All payments are processed by Apple through the App Store.
Refunds
Refunds are handled by Apple according to their policies. We do not process refunds directly.
Price Changes
We may change pricing for future purchases. Existing subscriptions continue at their original price until renewal.
Apple Subscription Terms
Payment will be charged to your iTunes Account at confirmation of purchase. Your subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24-hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24-hours prior to the end of the current period at the cost of the chosen package. Subscriptions may be managed by the user and auto-renewal may be turned off by going to the user's Account Settings after purchase. Any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, will be forfeited when the user purchases a subscription to that publication, where applicable.
6. Intellectual Property
XTERIX and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by XTERIX and protected by copyright and trademark laws.
X, Twitter, and related marks are trademarks of X Corp.
7. Disclaimers
XTERIX IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND.
We do not guarantee that:
- The App will be uninterrupted or error-free
- The App will be compatible with all devices or OS versions
- X features will always be accessible
- Burner sessions prevent all tracking (X may still identify you)
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for:
- Loss of data or account access
- Account suspension by X
- Unauthorized access due to lost PINs
- Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the App.
9. Termination
We may terminate access to XTERIX for violation of these Terms.
You may stop using XTERIX at any time by deleting the App.
10. Governing Law & Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States.
Any disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration, except for claims that qualify for small claims court.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms. Changes take effect when posted. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
